The NSW Government has now opened the 2026/2027 Local Sport Defibrillator Grant Program. This program aims to improve safety at community sport by increasing access to life-saving equipment.
Grants of up to $3,000 are available to fund the cost of an approved AED package. Eligible organisations can only receive funding for one AED package under this round of the Program.

Applications close: When funds are exhausted or by Wednesday 7 October 2026, 1:00 pm (whichever comes first)
Funding available: $500,000 total Grant amount: Up to $3,000 per AED package. (Funding is allocated on a first-in, first-served basis)
