This nationally recognised course set is designed for people who need advanced first aid and resuscitation skills for workplace, professional or community settings. HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid develops the skills and knowledge required to respond to a range of complex first aid emergencies. Training covers assessment and management of casualties, life-threatening conditions, injury and illness, CPR, defibrillation and appropriate first aid response. HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy develops skills to perform advanced resuscitation procedures and provide oxygen therapy in an emergency. Participants learn how to recognise and respond to life-threatening situations and provide appropriate assistance while awaiting emergency medical services.
